| A character who has fast reached my No.2 spot in "Favourite All Time Characters" in a series that has become my 2nd favourite anime. Well, Kamina was one of my easier costumes. The trousers just had an adapted waistband I added on, and some iron-on bias binding around the bottoms. Not clever but works as well as anything else. No decent sandals for me this time, I borrowed a friends. Wig was easier to style then I expected. Foam head I got from Kelly really helped, and I used the method of doing each spike individually with pins. :) Shades were made from 3mm acrylic plastic cut with a hacksaw, sanded, and then heated over a hob for a slight curve in the center. I am to make them stick to my face, but for Minami I just propped them up in one of Kamina's poses. The tattoos were done by Takuropop, and what an amazing job she did! :O So yeah. One basic Kamina done. Next time, at Amecon, I aim to have improved shades, cape, and sandals! :D | |

this is on my "too watch" list so i better get round to it before you cosplay it :D i take it your not doing this before may expo due to the cols weather and the inset of harded mark nips :S

You're doing Kamina too? Awesome! Word of advice for you that I got from a friend. Take multiple pairs of glasses. He had one pair break on him when he was traveling down ^^;;
All i'm thinking right now is
"GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!"
Uni: I used a basic Kryolan Aquacolour water based paint (posh facepaint basically, but only a little more expensive than stuff like Snazaroo) applied with a brush. All you need someone with a steady hand and a Kamina who can stay still for a long time. VICTORY!

Cool cos dude the wig dyed really well and the Acryllic must have been a buggar cut to shape evenly and to get so smooth..
