| Took a while to find suitable fur for Sora. He's not really coloured like anything else, so I had quite a job! I eventually found some georgeous "husky" fur that, while not perfect, was so beautiful and cheap, I had to go with it. Slight problem, in that I am very llergic to it, so have spent my time making him with streaming eyes and nose, but I wasn't going to let that stop me! The bodysuit is all one piece, with the paws and head seperate. There wasn't quite enough room in the shoulders and arms, which made walking a bit hard. The legs and arms were cut shaped, and then padded with wadding. Each paw was carved from a block of furniture foam, took about 6 hours to do the first one, but after that I got a bit faster!. The head is carved foam at the from, and strips of lighter foam at the back. The nose was done from a seperate piece. The pads on the bottom of each paw were carved into circles and painted with pva and acrylic paint. It took 36 hours for this to dry, I'm not sure why. Hair is long fur, shaped with hairspry and spray-on adhesive. Eyes are funky foam. The black bits are netting, stuck on the back. Visiblility wasn't bad when trying on the costume, but something about the lighting in the masquerade made it really impossible to see anything and I nearly ran down poor Nert! | |

Aw, thankyou! I did request to be near the back so I could put the costume as late as possible and then get out into the fresh air as soon as I could!
