| Seriously, the costume will be easy to make but it's all in the makeup and accessories. I am too excited to not share this as I cannot keep a secret. It's for a group. -- MoonLitChaos-x guessed it right in like 2 days with just a pic of the shirt. Howww. Girl you got skills! -- So now my secret is out! I am attempting Coach from Left 4 Dead 2. I am a fat booby white chick. Coach is a muscle-gone-to-tubs black dude. I want to use a bald cap and maybe prosthetics (I'm trying out now) to create this look! Of course I don't want to "black up", so I'm thinking of going as a dark tan... but now I've come across a bodysuit I am tempted to use and stick my fat suit under! Coach is just amazing, I love his quotes from the game. He's such a nice guy as well and is always encouraging everyone :) so he quickly became my favourite character! -- I was too ill to cosplay on the Sunday so have to wear this in the future! | |

Gloves, sweatbands and gold chain (Posted 15th May 2010) These gloves are too big for me dammit! They're a man's medium which usually fit me but these are huuuge. Oh well it'll make my hands look bigger, I hope! Still have to paint on the white lightning bolt. Made the sweatbands from a pair of mens thick socks, need to dirty them up a bit! The gold chain is off a fancy dress shop on ebay for £1.25. BLINGIN M8. I need to cut it smaller cos I want it to show through the v of the polo shirt! |

Making an axe and sweat patches! (Posted 9th May 2010) As you can see from my Coach, I've noticed a lot of L4D cosplayers seem quite spotless (or rather this was pointed out to me) so I wanted to dirty it up and recreate the look of a survivor. (See Raine as Nick and sinxsational as Ellis for other dirtied up costumes and how they did it). So as well as adding dirt to coach, I thought because he is overweight and in the game you are just running non stop, he'd have SWEAT PATCHES! EWW YES! So I added some sweat patches using oil so they will always look freshly sweatted out! Don't worry, I won't be stinky ;D I've also been making an axe out of foam (like the one in this render of Coach) so I can fit it on my back and it will be light and not dangerous! :D sinxsational gave me some boomer bile, so I'll be making something so I can attach it to my belt too. I want to get some pills but I'll see if I have time, I forgot until now... -___- |

sorry for double commenting here I just remembered I wanted to say that I think its awesome what your doing, I mean most girls do costumes of guys and...well they don't really try to look male in any way XD I think your presence of mind to pick a character you actually like regardless of what they look like is awesome, I mean what a task this is ^.^ people laughed when I said I wanted to do lust but I ended up having a great time :) and tbh I cant imagine a cosplay on here im more looking forward to seeing ^.^

@Ranma1-2: It's actually quite a mixture! It's a facepaint (I will look up the brand and name), but then a mineral powder foundation over the top and a lighter mineral powder foundation for highlights, covered with a fixative powder. If you are interested I can get all the names of each item! :)
