Miyuki-san has unfortunately passed away. She has always been my favourite actress and singer and I'm so upset. You may think it's stupid getting upset over someone famous I want to cosplay as Miyuki-san for tribute and memory and her most noticable roles are Sailor Moon (Sera Myu) and Battle Royale. I decided to make her Princess Serenity dress because it was something unique. Cosplaying as her in Battle Royale may get people confused with other students and cosplaying as her in the Eternal Sailor Moon, Super Sailor Monn and other costumes may confuse people with ANZA, Fumina or Marina. After looking at some of her costumes, I decided to make her Princess Serenity dress because all of the Serenity dress' in SeraMyu has a variation. Miyuki-san's dress was very unique, so if I make this dress people should recongise me as Miyuki. Depending on the money situation, this will be for the Cosplay ball in October, otherwise somewhere at the begining of 2009. 10th July 2008 Due to lack of money, time and reference pictures, I have to cancel this costume for this year. I couldn't find any reference pics & I doubt I'll have enough money to afford 9 metres of Duchess satin, plus loads of hemp, plus I'll be dreaded to think about the price of the wig. I still want to make this costume sometime in the future because I love Miyuki so MUCH!, but I don't know when I will get started.
