Description
Nothing says injoke like cosplaying a parody rehash of an old arcade game. Typing of the Dead is a touchtyping tutor game which thieves the game engine of the original arcade game House of the Dead - the one with zombies and all. Essentially it's the same game, except instead of shooting at the zombies with a lightgun, now a word appears above their head and you have to type it in in time to kill them o.o It's bizarre nature is what makes it so awesome, and playing along with that joke, the character models were changed so instead of having guns, they had gigantic Dreamcasts attached to their backs, with battery to match, and a floating keyboard. How could I resist? Many have done it by actually strapping a DC unit to their back, but I wanted to convey the hugeness of the one in the game. The DC is made of cardboard, tape, hotglue and funky foam. The battery is made of twiglet tins, half a gashapon capsule and garden wire to keep it suspended in place. Most gave me odd looks but people who got it were cracking up XD

I was laughing so hard when I saw you walking around in the Oct Expo... laughed even harder when I took the photo of you with the cosplayer that was doing the Okami cosplay! My brother said that is the best photo I took from all the ones I got from the Expo - and I agree XD

Hope I will see this again in another Expo!

Saw this at Minami, it was so funny >_<; I still think DC will always be the best console.

BTW thanks so much for giving me your spare masq ticket at Expo it meant I was able to meet up with my friends ^^
