| Freeza, from Dragonball Z. Although I do love all his forms, I think I'll try first form to begin with. Freeza is my favourite Dragonball character of all time, which is why I want to build him. Although I have some ideas on how to tackle it, I think it's mostly going to be a trial and error costume. I was going to use some of the techniques I used for Hellboy's arm to make the arm and leg armour, but that turned out to be a bad idea as this is nowehere near as bulky as the Right Hand of Doom. Unsure if I'll do him in his battle jacket, that will be decided later. And the tail will be FUN. ^.^ | |

08.12.08 (Posted 1 Month Ago) Ok. Started again on the vambraces and greaves today and came up with a new design that should be easier to make. I've got the first one cut and am happy with its size and proportions, so I'm going to use that as a template for the rest, then start papier macheting before I over think it all again XP |

07.12.08 (Posted 1 Month Ago) Well, PVA didn't work. And the templates I had were cack. So I started again today: just emptied my head and improvised instead of over planning it. You know, I think it's coming along better this way. Now I have the basic elements of the greaves, the vambraces and the helmet. Next job is to give them some proper, Freeza-esque shape. EPIC FAIL! I'll have another try at these tomorrow... -_-' |

06.12.08 (Posted 1 Month Ago) Attempted to glue the vambrace into shape, but PVA isn't up to the task methinks. I'm hunting out a cheap glue gun and hopefully that'll do better. |

04.12.08 (Posted 1 Month Ago) Today I cut the arms and legs. They're simple templates at the mo, and look nothing like i hope they will when they're finished. Once the glue is dry i'm going to bend them into shape and once the glue is dry from that, i'll start bulking them out with papier mache and cardboard. |
