(Added 28/06/2008. :) Worked on and off since then, hence why it's taking so long!) When I started cosplaying, I set myself on a mission to cosplay every single one of Aerith's costumes, because I love her that much. I was looking forward to Crisis Core coming out, especially since I got a PSP for my birthday in 2007. Now that I finally have a copy of FFVII:CC (thanks to my wonderful boyfriend <3), I want to make Aerith's outfit in it my next Aerith cosplay! And I already have suitable shoes, which, of course, is always a must for cosplay. It always starts with the shoes for me!

I've been trying to do this and failed 5 times. So I'm really looking forward to seeing this, because I love the dress!
Will you be wearing this to any conventions or expos?

I might be wearing it to the September Midlands expo. :) But, I haven't actually decided for definite about that expo yet! I keep my Cosplay Island up to date so if I decide to wear it to a convention, you'll find out. ^_^

I'm officially silly. Somehow, when I gave the shoes their first coat of paint, I mistook watercolour paint for acrylic paint (I have absolutely no idea how). Over the weekend my boyfriend bought some acrylic paint for me to finish the paint job on my shoes, but when I started painting over the first coat, the paint went all...blobby, so I had to wash it off and start again!

It's looking much better this time, though. I'd say the shoes are about a third of the way through. :D

Okay, so, I know I said I already had shoes I wanted to use for this cosplay, but while I was tidying my room today I found an even better pair to use! :D I honestly thought I'd thrown these shoes out, so it was a nice surprise when they turned up right in front of me. The only problem is, they're blue instead of pink, but with a lick of paint that'll be fixed easily.

Jeez, I haven't worked on this costume in ages. I really need some free time!

Just finished give the shoes their first coat of paint. :D I've run out of paint though, so I'll have to go out and buy some more when I have the chance.
