| Thanks :3 & I say go for it, Chell is so awesome :D
Yeah I was thinking of using foam (seen a really awesome portal gun using florists foam, though I could never make anything like theirs! http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/a130254/), but not the cardboard tube hmm... *makes a note* thanks for the suggestion ^^
Hopefully should get some good sealant (or PVA glue possibly) or use acryllic paints since they're nice thick colours and waterproof, I think theres special acryllic paint for that kind of stuff...
Thanks again & good luck with your costumes ^^ x |

| Best of luck with this - it's always great to see another Chell cosplay (I've been considering it myself =p).
If you're going to make the portal gun yourself, have you considered sheets of foam and a carboard tube? The right paint will make it look realistic depite the materials.
Good luck with it all ^_^ |

| If you bought your boiler suit from the same ebay seller I did, then yes, it's going to be ENORMOUS. Have fun taking it in!
How are you planning to do the leg supports, by the way? |
